Let's put this into context - two vehichles on the road collided. Hardly a rare occurrance, hardly makes the driver any less competent that the thousands of other road users that do the same thing every year.

And here's the shock for everyone, unlike trains, trams DO have to give way to other traffic in certain circumstances. We can't assume the woman is in the wrong here, at least not based on what is quoted.

Hey Bwana, perhaps, but you are forgetting one rule. Women in 4WD are ALWAYS wrong.

Maybe trams have to give way, but you would be pretty fucken stoopid to insist on your right and hope he can stop. Not a lot of good being in the right when your car is a crumpled mess and you are in hospital. Same thing applies to trucks. Even though we hate trucks on here, have some fucken sense. A truck can't stop on sixpence like a car.

Cunts that insist on their rights are a fucken accident waiting to happen.

Got to agree with you there Argus about people who are in the right, I travel along that part of the line regularly and you see stupidity in action at every intersection nearly! Despite what gets said here about interstate drivers South Australian drivers in general are worse than any of the others.They do not even get their licence from a corn flakes packet or something! Shit-eating grin

Almost saw a real example of stupidity today. I was sitting in my car at the King William/North Tce intersection at a red light. Some clown heading east on North Tce sitting in the right hand turn lane to turn down King William decided to do a U turn at the lights. Right in front of the tram turning from King William into North Tce. Tram got on the horn, braked heavily, and thinking that was bad enough, the dickhead behind the cunt that did the U turn also did a U turn, right in front of the tram still hitting the brakes hard and blasting its horn.

Might be a bit hard to picture that in your head if you don't know the intersection, but for those of us who do would understand that THAT is an example of brain dead wanker syndrome.
