Just got a teckst from him, Sir Tee-El-Dee's machine has fucked itself sideways, and our master Administrator is without access to interweb. Direct all enquiries and virgins through to the Notch.

You can honestly get a good kick-arse machine (2ghz, 1gig ram, 120gig HDD, etc. etc) plus a 19" LCd monitor for $300 these days. I'm not sure what TLD's situation is, but if you need a new computer you definately don't need to fork out $1000+.

Just have a look through the newspapers, there's always good deals on.

I'm sure he'll be back when he gets a chance ... I can imagine things are busy down at AusPost this time of year, and so he probably just hasn't had a chance to get a replacement, but I understand a replacement is available when he does get a sec.

The "30 day" mark is a bit ominous. It's a bit of a rule of thumb that if you go without/off something for 30 days, it then becomes a habit. Maybe <sniff> the dawg has discovered that he *doesn't* need a computer to have a life...
