The old girl is currently in the workshop for a routine overhaul. I'm getting some new stomper plates fitted because the old ones were nearly out of spec, I'll keep the same blade chains until the major overhaul next July, so I'm just having those sharpened where needed. 'notch got us a good deal on some electrical work - the electrodes are being upgraded to three-phase power. I've got a reconditioned podger bar that I'll fit to the autobuggerer myself.
Should be back online by Monday. In the interim, I've hired a pneumatic unit from Kennards.
Thanks.

Does it have a rodgering bar or will you need to have one fitted? _________________ Some people are like slinkies....they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

It has a podger bar.* This performs multiple functions, one of which is simple rodgering, but there is also inverse rodgering, double rodgering, rotational rodgering, and manual override.

Is there a vaselene applicator with an added sand mixer to go with that? _________________ Some people are like slinkies....they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Where does you brother work? You don't have to be too specific. Is he in a Letters Facility? Depending on the state, I might know 'I'm. _________________ The idiot who, in railway carriages,

He's a night time boy in Melbourne's east. I also think he's some sort of manager now, who cares it's drinks time when he stops by, no time for work then. _________________ Some people are like slinkies....they don't really have a purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

Whilke we are on the subject of postal workers, Loaded, how many people from Melbourne's mail centre from the 1990's do you know? Just that two of my dad's good mates used to be mail sorters. And they drink beer and like trains... _________________ Get a fucken move-on

Fuck all really. There's not much contact between the states. Even the truckies turn around at Tarcutta.
Are you talking about the old Melbourne MC opposite SSS? I think all those people got moved to the big joint at Dandenong (why the fuck they built it there is beyond me). I do know a couple of Post people in Victoria, but they're in HQ at Exhibition Street, and tend to be NSW ex-pats anyway. _________________ The idiot who, in railway carriages,

They used to, all have retired now - two worked in International or parcels or some shit like that in Port Melbourne (I forget where) after they moved, and one was an ex-truckie who died recently. _________________ Get a fucken move-on

Sorry to dig up an old(ish) thread but ask any former steam driver and they'll tell you all about the Podger Gauge.

I don't know if you are familiar withhe Geneva Convention or Bill of Rights or whatever; it doesn't really matter. There are some people who like that sort of thing inserted in their nether's; particularly the second one.
I think it's counterproductive to expect a change of behavior from what isn't required by rewarding that very behavior that's causing offence.
It obviously takers time to make these changes, the Forum needs to set up counciling, attitudinal changing services etc.
I feel that I should, due to my short period of barstadry in comparison to others, volunteer to test the DilDozer, as a short term fix.
