But I'm kinda sick of hearing about it here. Yes, I can appreciate that the signal-to-noise ratio (despite it plummeting for a while after I was blackballed) is high there and yes, sometimes people talk outta their arse there - but it's really getting fucking annoying reading it here.

If you want to do so, you can post that stuff at Wheels on Steel, a board with which RAILBASTARD has friendly diplomatic relations (I'm a member there, and they have senior guys posting here), as they have made an admin-level choice to allow that content, just as I have made a similar choice to make it one of the very few things off limits here.
I understand it'd be nice to be able to vent about Railpage stuff sometimes (I'm tempted myself), but for the greater good, it's better if we don't. I have seen board wars before, and they suck - especially because it's the usual kiddie suspects that will inevitably take things too far. I don't want to have to spend that much time driving The Apparatus™ (the suspension is dreadful, my dears) as I'm sure I would have to, and I doubt MGH and co want to either.
You can let the occasional reference slip through, as long as it IS occasional (very occasional), and as long as it's pretty indirect. As an example of indirectness, it shouldn't be the prime focus of a post here.

I vent about Railpage on Railpage - it's the easiest solution. Don't get me started about Wheels on Steel...
(of course my previous post was just a vehicle to use the expression "churning my shit in a blender", which I feel needed an outing)

Now that wasn't even a vent, it was in the context of the discussion, and no problems with my other 3 examples. I can imagine what deliberate venting is going to lead to! |
Ohhh...the temptation to shitcan those warnings! Why don't I frequent RP anymore...? Anyhow, I will refrain as Dog the Bounty Hunter has requested, not because of the Apparatus™ (haven't seen you 'round here before...) but because I know he won't be gentle with it...

Ignoring philbert's personal attack, it occurs to me that I didn't point out yesterday that I like the whinge-a-link, and asked for a similar set up here a few months back, but think it's open to abuse by being used on very trivial matters.
