A couple of possible nominees for Honorary Railbastard here:

If the local court convicts them the magistrate deserves a boot up the arse.

Fucken bullshit ya laying prick.

You want to cover grief and that shit, hows about accurately covering what happened to the Tilt instead of sticking the boot into QR for some fuckwit truckies murdering actions?

Hows about covering the fact the truckie drove through a set op operating LX lights and killed two train drivers? I bet if he did the same on the Hume Highway and killed Ma and Pa kettle you'd want to print it.

Hows about you tell the truth about what happened in Tathra? The footy players warned you off filming them commiserating over the death of a mate and you lot pushed the envelope?

Bunch of arseholes.

Morally bankrupt these pricks. As KRviator mentioned, this would be a different story if it involved a family on the road. Funny how whenever a truck and a car have a head-on, the truck driver is painted as the villain, yet when it's a truck and a train having a collision they are full of excuses for the truckies.

No one should have to go to work and wonder if they'll come home.

Journos, lawyers and accountants are all way too high up the list.

Perhaps telling that train drivers and members of the armed services do not even get a look in.

The decline of the Bank Manager is interesting. Look at 1990 to 1991. Just when interest rates were hitting 18%.

I saw a heap of shite using this survey on the quiz show "The Rich List" - the list was The Top 25 Most Trusted Professions and I know it was based on this list which is an arbitrary list of the best, the middlest and the worst not the top 25. A contestant said 'vets' and it wasn't on the list but pollies, journos, car salesmen and pimps were on it! (well pimps weren't Wink ) So that told me it wasn't based on any proper list but this survey.
The people who lost could have sued over that. It's a wonder A Current Of Air (out of a journo's arse) didn't do a hack job on the show.
