Some time ago on the other forum I think it was 42101 who posted all his tickets. It was an interesting read. I mentioned elsewhere that my grandfather was a qualified engine driver. I've actually got his ticket - it's massive so the scan doesn't do it justice. Nevertheless here it is. Feel free to post yours or ones you have - of course get rid of the identifying marks if you will.
I'm pretty sure he didn't get much of chance to use it as he went off to war in 1915 - this is dated 1913. He was supposedly (according to family legend) the youngest to achieve this but I take all such claims with a grain of salt.
Looks like it was only for workshop use not mainline running!

I bet you say that to all the girls.
Best I could do is a printout of mail stuff I'm trained on. I can drive pretty much any piece of mail processing equipment in the country from a 1930s vintage cancelling machine (now finally retired) to some scary computerised multi-million dollar stuff. It doesn't have the loco style though. _________________ The idiot who, in railway carriages,

Greg, instead of just whiting out your name, you should have photoshopped "Cobraking" into all of them, then re-pritned them, and use them as your actual quals.
Stupid I know, but fuck that would be awesomely cool.
I can see it now... "Cobraking is proficient in the following: Oxy L.P. gas cutting"

Hey I thought of that first!
I have my PN full FX brake exam certs and in Vic I just loved red carding wagons got me 8 out of 10 one day, all alloy VHGFs and was pissed off at someone, cant remember who so went ballistic with all the cracks.
Comrade Stalin is pretty good at this Too, Trust Me!
I also have cert 1, 2 and cert 4 in training and assessment!
I might put these up later as the UNI of melb ones look real cool! _________________ What you say here stays here!.

| I know all about Red Carding Bigged, you could have a field day with some rakes of wagons that run around up here. Steep and thin flange, arrisses, hollow wheels, skidded and scaled wheels, rooted constraps, busted carrier plate bolts, broken knuckles pins, seals of all description leaking air/grease like buggery.

Nothing like RED carding every second wagon in a rake to piss the shunters off or for variety every 5th one out of a rake. till the hand lamp gets thrown at you by a pissed off head shunter....still he should not have said hey Greg come and check these out for me.
