I've seen it stabled near Tarago during the day before, when passing on the nearby road.
Might be worth looking if there's any good spots in that area, either to get a shot of it stabled when it's moving. Can't remember how close you could legally get to the siding - was a while back.

From my recollection of driving to Bungendore a few years back the road follows the line for a few kilometers just north of Tarago, and there wasn't much in the way of obstructions either, so there should be some great morning shots to be had from the road. _________________ It's Better to die on your feet than to live on your knees - Oils.
